Chocolate and Vanilla Buttercream Ombre Cake

Decided to bake the cake at the very last minute for a friend's birthday. No particular idea in mind so end up doing ombre buttercream to cover the moist chocolate cake. Oh and I've cheated! I bought the macarons this morning as I was still clueless what should i do for the top deco.
