Myulchi Bokkeum 멸치 볶음 / Stir-fried Spicy Anchovies

Since we will live here for the next few years, might as well we eat and cook locally isn't it?

Myulchi Bokkeum, one of a popular side dishes (banchan) here in Korea. I ate it for the first time when we in Seoul last September..it's similar to Malay Sambal Ikan Bilis with less work..not even 10 minutes you could eat it! Bit too sweet for my liking, so I had to reduced the amount of the sugar and more of the gochujang and the shishito peppers..truly Malay isn't it??
