Chocolate and Peanut Butter Macaron

If any of you like chocolate, peanut butter and macaron, this will definitely for you. It taste like just like snickers, minus the caramel..

Instead of making the peanut butter myself, I just used store bought as I really need to finish all up the stock in the kitchen cupboard. I could have made, but why trouble yourself isn't it;p


Chocolate and Peanut Butter Macaron

For the Shell : Basic Macaron Shell

For Filling:
Chocolate Ganache
200 g dark chocolate, chopped
60 ml heavy cream

Peanut Butter

Put chopped chocolate in a separate bowl, bring cream to the boil in a small sauce pan over medium heat. Remove from the heat as soon it comes to boil.

Pour hot cream into chocolate. Leave it for about 30 seconds. Stir the chocoalte and cream mixture until the chocolate melted. Chill the ganache at least 30 minutes before using them to fill the macaron.

How to assemble the macaron:
Once the cookies are cool, match them up so they are paired with one that is a like size.  Pipe the ganache and peanut butter onto the base, and place the top on. Gently press down. They are best to eat the next day that if you could wait long enough.
