Hazelnut and Chocolate Chips Brownies

I never like dessert or patisserie but love my brownies, but I can't eat store or café bought brownies, it's either too rich, too chocolatey or a lousy one. Until one day I found this recipe, quite straight forward nothing too fancy. Except that I always change the nuts, one day it could be walnut, the next could be havelnut, or sometime, for a pleasure of my little girl, i add loads of chocolate chips in it, hoping that she won't dig out the chips and leave the brownies aside instead..

 Hazelnut and Chocolate Chips Brownies

Ingredients:
250 g butter
250 g chocolate, break to small pieces
300 g sugar
8 medium size eggs
250 g self rising flour
125 g nuts (any) or chocolate chips

Preheat oven 180°C, grease baking tray.

Melt butter and chocolate in the microwave. Leave aside to cool down.

Mix eggs and sugar in a mixing bowl, with an electric mixer on maximum speed, whisk the eggs and sugar until they look thick and creamy. Pour the cooled chocolate mixture over the egg mixture, then gently fold together with a rubber spatula. Pour in slowly the flour, fold it and finally stir in the chips and hazelnut.

Pour the mixture into the greased baking tray, bake for about 45 minutes.
