Homemade Wonton Wrapper
I wanted to post about this few days back, but I was sooo unmotivated to do so, even today, I still feel the same..
Ingredients for Homemade Wholemeal Wonton Wrapper:
*2 cups of wholemeal flour
1 egg
Sal to taste
*1/2 cup of water
* Extra maybe needed
Lightly beat the egg with sqlt, add half of water.
Sift the flour into a large bow, make well in the middle and add the egg mixture. Mix in with the flour. Add as much of the remaining water as necessary to form a dough, add more water or flour if needed)
Knead dough until it forms a smooth ball and workable dough. Cover, chill and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface, roll out until very thin and and cut into circles. The wonton now are ready to use.
